Biography

Diarmait mac Cerbaill was the son of Fergus Cerrbél, grandson of Conall Cremthainne, and great grandson of Niall of the Nine Hostages. [1]

He is said to have been killed in 565, in Banbán the Hositaller's hall, Ráith Bec in Mag Line (Moylinny, near Larne) in Ulster by his step-son, Áed Dub mac Suibni, king of the Cruthin. [3] [4]
